This is a system-agnostic set of locations and events that can slot into a wide range of table-top roleplaying games in which there is travel, wilderness, and adventure.

Here's a taste of some of the inns:

12- The inn is grand with sumptuous furnishings and rich food, the prices are eye watering.
13- The inn is grimy, damp, covered in mould, mushrooms growing in the corners. The innkeeper and clientele aren't much cleaner.
14- The inn is just someone's house. You and the other guests squeeze into their kitchen to eat and take up a bedroom of an absent child

And some of the inn events:

4- The innkeeper is keen to extract as much profit from the parties, offering them extravagant food and services, attempting to keep them there until their funds run dry.
5- The inn is a front for something else entirely (a fighting ring, a criminal enterprise, a resistance cell, a cult, a conspiracy) which one of the party members uncovers by mistake.
6- The food is inedible, poisonous, or hallucinogenic, whether through different diet of the innkeeper, or something bad in the pantry.
